About Us

Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board is a collaboration of Pittsburgh-area employers, educators, labor unions, policy makers and community-based organizations united to bridge the gap between job seekers and companies in need of talent. We serve every facet of the Pittsburgh-area workforce.

We help Pittsburgh-area businesses by offering money to bring new workers on board, as well as with customized job training programs.

We help jobseekers by providing low or no-cost training opportunities in Pittsburgh and connections with a variety of job-search services.

We help young people by providing paid summer internships at major corporations in Pittsburgh and other career exploration activities.

We work with educators to ensure that training programs match employer demand.

We help policy makers by researching and advising on unemployment rates, employment trends and job outlooks.
